Welcome to the VFA-106 Virtual Tactical Demonstration Squadron Team website. Here at the Virtual VFA-106, we utilize Flight Simulator X and the F/A-18 Hornet. The Virtual Gladiators stationed in the beautiful Virginia Beach, Virginia at Naval Air Station Oceana have perfected the tactical demonstration to the exact perfection that the real United States Navy VFA-106 “Gladiators” strive for. The Virtual Gladiators was formed back in May of 2008 and the 2011 team consist of Two F/A-18 Hornet Aviators and a F4U Corsair pilot who strive for professionalism and excellence in the virtual skies.  In August of 2009, the Virtual Gladiators added the Tailhook Legacy Flight which is now flown after the F/A-18 Hornet Demonstration.  The Virtual Gladiators are looking forward to performing in the 2011 show season throughout the Flight Simulator Community.  We would like to thank you for your support and appreciation in the 2011 team and hope to see you flying in the virtual skies.
